this is a lovely poem on the arid bareness of winter...the stark imagery by wcw is as succinct as a barren tree with one dry seared leaf in the wind!!

- What about me? I love to write, mostly about my self (what else do I know so well?) I love photography, I have had a digital camera for about 2 years; I really can't say I am an amateur-as I have sold one photo for $50.00- but on the other hand I can't say as I am a professional, as I have sold only one photo for $ 50.00. I gave up photography for the past winter and most of this summer, but lately have regained an interest in the art. I want to be rich & famous, but is that not a trap? Basically, I just want to live my life, create art as within my possibilites, and be...what? Be happy, that's all. So four years have passed since I wrote the above profile, and now to update! I have sold 17 or 18 framed photos since I began this blog and though financial stability (!) has eluded my fate, I am always happy when I sell a work...
